After a nationwide search, University Housing has named Zach Schiff director of construction and renovation. He is responsible for directing the planning, development, design and construction of University Housing projects.  

Schiff has served as the associate director of construction and renovations for University Housing since 2019 and provided leadership in pandemic housing operations and several maintenance and renovation projects across campus.   

 Before joining the University of South Carolina, Schiff worked for Caterpillar, the University of Georgia and served with the United States Air Force.  He has experience worldwide in managing construction projects, operating and maintaining plant infrastructure and facilities and optimizing budget performance.

 He earned a master’s degree in engineering management from the Air Force Institute of Technology and is pursuing a master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from South Carolina.
