Campus sustainability isn't accomplished by just one office or department. It is a
collaborative effort that requires help from all organizations and individuals across the
university and in the community.
Apply to join Sustainable Carolina!
Applications to join Sustainable Carolina in Spring 2022 will be accepted thru
October 29th at 5 pm. As an organization, we look for highly motivated students of all disciplines who
want to learn more about and advance sustainability efforts on campus and in the community.
Whether you consider yourself a sustainability expert, or just want to get involved,
there is a place for you in Sustainable Carolina! Apply here. Sign Up To Volunteer in the Garden! Come and volunteer in the Sustainable Carolina Garden! Preregistration is required. For planning purposes we request that volunteers pre-register for garden shifts. Following the University's guidelines we no longer require volunteers to wear a face covering while volunteering outside in the garden.
We do encourage volunteers to have a face covering to use facilities within the building.
The number of volunteers per shift is capped at 10 individuals. For volunteer opportunities
for larger groups please contact the Sustainable Carolina Garden Manager.
