New Self Service experience set to launch Feb. 11

On February 11, the University of South Carolina will launch a new refreshed Self Service Carolina.

  • The changes will bring the university’s student information system to the latest software version which incorporates standards and compliance requirements.
  • The launch will offer self service delivery improvements across the USC system.

While much of Self Service Carolina's layout and content will remain the same, some aspects of the user experience will differ.

  • The Student Accounts and Financial Aid sections of the new Self Service will have a new up-to-date look and be easier for students to use.
  • Most significantly, new landing pages, which are specific to each USC campus, will be launched for students, faculty and advisors across the system. This change will allow each campus to tailor certain content, transactions, and resources to their students, faculty, and advisors. During this transition, we will prominently place these new campus links on my.sc.edu.

What's next: Before logging into your new campus page, clear your cache and be sure to replace old Self Service bookmarks.

We value your feedback, so please feel free to email SSCHELP@sc.edu to share your thoughts or any concerns you might have as you navigate the new pages. For technical support with Self Service, contact the USC Service Desk at 803-777-1800, or access the https://scprod.service-now.com/sp.
