This week in Gamecock Entertainment

It's the last month of programming for the semester, so Gamecock Entertainment did not disappoint with the next couple weeks of events. Mark your calendars and enjoy these free events and activities.

Tuesday, Nov. 10

Head to Davis Field from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for Dogs on Davis. Take a break from your busy day and join Carolina Productions and Pawmetto Lifeline to destress with cute puppies.

Later, head to Russell Underground’s open house. From 6 to 9:15 p.m. check out Russell House’s newest event space. Russell Underground is a modern, multipurpose event space that is equipped with high-quality audio and livestreaming capabilities.

Wednesday, Nov. 11

Join USC Dance Marathon and DJ iAM on Nov. 11 at 6-8 p.m. for a dance party. DJ iAM and USCDM will also be livestreaming this event. Come hang out, learn more about Dance Marathon and dance the night away in Russell Underground.

This event will have a cap of in-person attendees of 40 people. You must RSVP to this event on Garnet Gate to attend. You will need your Garnet Gate Event Pass ready to check-in at the event. See USC Dance Marathon's Garnet Gate for more information and to join virtually.

Thursday, Nov. 12

Challenge your friends to some friendly competition and head to Blatt Fields from 7 to 10 p.m. for Thursday After Dark’s outdoor laser tag.

Friday, Nov. 13

If you haven’t participated in Cockadoodle Friday this semester, now is the time to make Greene Street your canvas. Gamecock Entertainment will provide the chalk and you can create a mural of your choice every Friday 3-5 p.m.

Friday-Sunday, Nov. 13-15

USC Dance Marathon is hosting its first FT5K Turkey Trot benefitting Prisma Health Children’s Hospital–Midlands. Participation will be virtual and completed on your own time throughout the weekend. Though friendly competition is encouraged, you don’t have to be a runner to join the fun — run, skip, walk or crawl your way to the virtual finish line.

You can participate in this event from anywhere in the world by registering online. Event details can be found on the USC Dance Marathon website.

For the rest of November’s programming schedule, visit the Gamecock Entertainment website. You can look forward to a karaoke night, paint party and the Carolina vs. Clemson Blood Drive.
