A guide to Family Weekend events

Family Weekend (Sept. 11-13) is a great opportunity to immerse yourself and your loved ones in the Carolina community. Spend a few days getting to know the city and campus and meet fellow family members and students.

While registration has closed for three signature Family Weekend events (President Meet and Greet, Rock the Roost and the Family Tailgate Party), there are many other options on campus to celebrate with your loved ones.

Friday (Sept. 12)

Azalea's Coffee and Cinnamon Roll Deli ECC Living Learning Community Family Weekend Event- 8:30-10:30 a.m. at ECC Community Room (Campus Village 3, Rooms 3111 & 3112)

College of Social Work's 2025 Family Weekend Drop-In- 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Hamilton College

College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management Family Weekend Lunch- 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. at McCutchen House

Advising Center Open House for Families- 12–2 p.m. on the 3rd floor of Close-Hipp

MCEC Family Weekend Meet and Greet- 1-2:30 p.m. at the Swearingen Engineering Center lobby

Capstone Scholars Program Family Weekend "Hot Cookie Friday"- 2-4 p.m. at the Spigner House 101

College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management Family Weekend Showcase- 2-4 p.m., Close-Hipp HRSM Welcome Center

Cupcakes with Cocky- 2-4 p.m., School of Journalism & Mass Communications Atrium

Family Weekend Drop-in at the Sustainable Carolina Garden- 2-4 p.m. at Green Quad C between Sumter and Main streets

Nursing Fall Open House- 2-4:30 p.m. in the Williams-Brice Building.

School of the Earth, Ocean and Environment Open House- 2-3:30 p.m. in Jones Physical Science Center

Darla Moore School of Business Information Session Family Weekend 2025- 2:30-3:30 p.m. in Darla Moore Room 101

Under the Stars McCausland College of Arts & Sciences Family Weekend- 8:30-11 p.m. on Greene Street near the Melton Observatory

Family Weekend - Stargazing at the Melton Memorial Observatory (Weather Permitting)- 9-11 p.m. at the Melton Observatory

Saturday (Sept. 13)

Soda City- 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on Main Street

First-Gen Family Weekend Brunch- 10 a.m.-noon at Maxcy College

Tailgate on Greene Street- 4-6 p.m. outside Russell House on Greene Street

USC v. Vanderbilt- 7 p.m. kickoff at Williams-Brice Stadium
