Cocky's Reading Express is the University of South Carolina’s literacy outreach initiative. Cocky and his team of Gamecock volunteers are on a mission to inspire young readers across South Carolina. Through high-energy storytime programming and free self-selected books, the students get to engage with books in a fun and relatable environment outside the classroom.
This year, Cocky’s Reading Express is celebrating 20 years by giving away 20,000 books. Join Cocky's team as we celebrate the power of literacy, laughter and learning in the Palmetto State.
