Purpose, Happiness, and Thriving During Your Encore Years
The later stages of life, sometimes referred to as your encore years, is often a time
of major life transitions accompanied by anxiety and unhappiness. Students in this
class will learn about what we know about this period of life and develop tools to
discover purpose, be happy, and thrive in the later years. The course will include
presentations and discussion about the science of happiness, purpose, and thriving,
as well as experiential class and home activities designed to increase all three.
