Assistant Director for Student Engagement
Grace’s passion for health and holistic wellness grew out of her childhood as an athlete in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. Grace was recruited to compete as a springboard diver for the University of South Carolina and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health. After working in the medical field following graduation, Grace realized her true devotion to helping others find their passions in life. Grace returned to UofSC to pursue a Master of Education in Higher Education and Student Affairs in hopes of helping students find their own life calling. During her graduate studies, Grace served as a Graduate Assistant for Sustainable Carolina, where her interest in health and wellness blossomed into a genuine passion for sustainability. After graduating with her master’s, Grace joined the Office of Sustainability as Assistant Director for Student Engagement in August 2019. Grace primarily oversees the Sustainable Carolina Leadership Program and loves to help students find the intersectionality between their career goals and sustainability - no matter how seemingly farfetched! In her spare time, Grace enjoys spending time near the water, taking weekend trips to the mountains or coast, cooking, and meditating in yoga classes.
