Graduate Leader Training
This one-day training aims to prepare graduate leaders for their role in UNIV 101 through discussion of the community-building process, today’s students and their needs, and active learning strategies.
These workshops provide an opportunity for instructors, peer leaders and graduate leaders to share and learn about effective strategies for achieving common course goals and learning outcomes.
Graduate leaders can receive academic credit for taking EDHE 834 while team-teaching University 101. The course is designed to provide an opportunity for a supervised teaching experience. Grading is on an S/U basis.
Although this class is not required for graduate leaders, it is highly recommended to provide a holistic experience.
