Christi Bigony previously earned a B.A. in Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management from USC Columbia. While she thoroughly enjoyed five years spent working in the hospitality industry, she knew that her heart was with working with children. She returned to school and the then-new USC Palmetto College Online in 2013. She was able to manage coursework and student teaching, along with a two-year-old, all while maintaining a place on the President’s Honors List, and earned her B.A. in Elementary Education from USC Columbia in 2016.
