Bio
| Background: | Relevant Experience: Teaching: As a clinical site for both Georgetown University and Virginia Commonwealth University Student Registered Nurse Anesthetist training, I have and continue to have extensive contact with and participation in the education of SRNAs. Cardiac & Thoracic Anesthesia: As a practicing cardiac and thoracic anesthesiologist at the busiest cardiac surgery center in the city of Richmond, I have had the ability to provide anesthetics for both cardiac and thoracic surgery including the use of trans-esophageal echocardiography. I have provided these services for multiple patients as I am one of four cardiac anesthesiologists for the Levinson Heart Hospital at CJW Medical Center. I have successfully taken and passed the American Society of Echocardiography's Advanced PTeXAM certification exam. Leadership & Development: Currently enrolled in the American Academy of Physician Leaders (formerly the American College of Physician Executives) prerequisite courses to obtain my masters of business administration or masters of medical management to expand my knowledge and skill in the administration and leadership of the anesthesia group/department or healthcare organization that I am a part of. I have also completed an extensive two year program started by my current group called the Partner Leadership Development Program learning all of the administrative, human resources, financial, and billing aspects, etc. to become a future leader of the group. Hobbies: Reading, Music, Technology, Family, Sports, Cuisine. |
