Primary Care

Primary care facilities are designed to help you take care of yourself during a hectic medical school schedule and urgent care is available for those unexpected needs.

Four primary care practices designated to see students are staffed by Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians as well as nurse practitioners who are not directly involved with teaching medical students. Students can find more details on becoming established as a patient with one of these practices in the Student Handbook [PDF].

The Team Member Care Center is located at Greenville Memorial campus on the first floor of Roger C. Peace Rehabilitation Hospital and is staffed by several experienced nurse practitioners with physician back-up and referral when clinically indicated. No member of the Team Member Care Center staff has any responsibility in medical student education or grading. Same-day appointments can be made by calling 864-455-2455. Students can go here for all acute, non-emergent care needs.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
