As the Charter Class of 2016, you didn’t just begin your medical education in Greenville—you helped shape what the School of Medicine Greenville would become. For ten years, the foundation you laid as the first has guided and inspired every class that has followed. As you gather for this 10‑year milestone reunion weekend, we celebrate the community you built, the traditions you started, the path you forged, and the legacy that continues to echo through SOMG—one that remains uniquely yours. Forever the First: A Rooftop Reunion (ALUMNI ONLY)

Begin your reunion weekend with a rooftop welcome at The Avenue designed for celebration and fellowship. Enjoy dinner, drinks, and downtown views as you reconnect with classmates who shaped your SOMG beginning. Families are invited, with a childcare attendant and dedicated kids’ movie space so everyone can relax. As a special welcome, each Charter Class member will receive a copy of The Oath, SOMG’s inaugural alumni magazine, featuring your story at the center.

Milestone Morning: The First Come Home (ALUMNI ONLY)

Come home to campus for an intentional morning rooted in reflection, connection, and the legacy you started. Enjoy a relaxed brunch in the rotunda with classmates before settling in for an intimate fireside chat with Dean MacGilvray highlighting SOMG's growth and your lasting impact. Then join our guided campus tour, where you’ll meet today’s students, revisit familiar spaces, and see how the school has evolved since your time as the first.

Legacy Celebration: Cheers to 10 Years

Close out the reunion weekend with an evening worthy of the Charter Class. Join us at Seratonic, one of downtown Greenville's premier lounges, for a sophisticated celebration featuring handcrafted cocktails, a dinner buffet, live music, and an open mic session.
