Student Health Services
All students are eligible to take advantage of our Student Health Services Program at the School of Medicine Greenville. This program offers primary care and non-emergent health care as well as counseling and behavioral health services. Students simply present to the provider the health services card they receive at orientation.
Primary and Urgent Care
Stay healthy by visiting any of the four primary care practices available to USC SOMG students. Prisma Health Urgent Care is available to students after hours for those unexpected issues.
Required Health Insurance
University of South Carolina School of Medicine Greenville students are required to be covered by health insurance. Find the option that works best for you.
Required Immunizations
All students are required to complete and maintain immunizations as part of the Prisma Health and USC School of Medicine Greenville system.
Choose a Healthy PATH
PATH or Partners Achieving Total Health is a wellness initiative between Prisma Health-Upstate and the YMCA of Greenville. PATH includes membership to the Prisma Health Life Center as well as Greenville County YMCA facilities. School of Medicine Greenville students are offered a membership to the PATH program upon enrollment.
