Plan for commencement traffic around Colonial Life Arena
Large commencements will create more backups

With commencement ceremonies set for Friday and Saturday (May 10-11), Parking and Transportation Services urges all faculty, staff and visitors to allow for additional time to navigate traffic and consider utilizing shuttle service while traveling to Colonial Life Arena this weekend.
Three main ceremonies will be held in the arena — 3 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Saturday — as well as several other commencement events in the Koger Center and other nearby facilities.
Shuttles from the Pendleton Street Garage and the Horizon Garage at 519 Main St. are available for all three commencement ceremonies. Parking will also be available in the surface lots across from the arena as well as in area garages that charge hourly fees.
Also Friday and Saturday, shuttles for Carolina baseball games against Kentucky will not run from the arena area, but will run from the Key Road parking lot. Shuttles will return to the surface lots around the arena for Sunday's game.
