Swipe Out Hunger program assists students dealing with food insecurity

Student Government, in partnership with Aramark, launched Swipe Out Hunger to aid students dealing with food insecurity, which is the lack of reliable access to sufficient quantities of affordable, nutritious food.

If selected to be a part of this program, participants will receive a block of 16 additional meal swipes at the start of the spring 2020 semester, donated by UofSC students, which can be used throughout the semester. These 16 meal swipes can be used at all campus dining locations and will work like every other meal swipe.

For more information and to apply to be considered, visit the Leadership and Service Center website. Your application will be anonymously reviewed to determine your selection in the program. If you are selected, you will be notified via email.

If you have additional questions, contact the Speaker of the Senate's Office at sasgspk@mailbox.sc.edu.

Participation in this program will not impact financial aid or scholarships.
