The University of South Carolina’s Parking and Transportation Services will start tagging any bikes that seem abandoned on the Columbia campus this month.
Any tagged bikes remaining in place after Dec. 1 will be collected and placed in storage. Removing such bikes helps keep bike racks open and improves the campus appearance.
Owners will have 120 days (until April 1) to reclaim their bike from Parking and Transportation Services.
