University 101 accepting applications for peer leaders

University 101 is accepting applications for peer leader positions through Jan. 14.
Peer leaders have the opportunity to co-instruct a section of U101 with a faculty or staff member and to serve as mentors and role models for first-year students. Former peer leaders have shared that serving in the role has helped them improve communication, facilitation and leadership skills as well as self-awareness.
The position also counts as an approved leadership experience for Graduation with Leadership Distinction.
