VIDEO: UofSC Athletics staff provides behind-the-scenes broadcast coverage

TV viewers recently saw the Gamecock women's soccer team extend its home winning streak to 12, the longest in school history. What viewers didn't see was the enormous behind-the-scenes effort by UofSC employees.
The game, which aired on the SEC Network, was the first of dozens of sporting events in which the entire broadcast was handled by Athletics Department staff. The creation of the nationwide TV network has prompted the department to increase the number of employees so Gamecocks can be competitive in the Southeastern Conference, both on-the-field and on-the-air.
