The city of Columbia shut down Main Street for a parade Wednesday (April 13) to celebrate
the 2022 national champion Gamecock women's basketball team. "Fams" — as coach Dawn
Staley calls them — lined the street and gathered on the grounds of the South Carolina
State House to hear speeches and cheer on the team that won its second national title
earlier this month.
