"Yeah, do Pillars. Oh, my gosh, this program, so much of our feedback is 'This gave me a group of people.' 'This made me feel comfortable right before college started.' And that's exactly the goal. We want you to have fun. We want you to learn about yourself. But our biggest goal overall is to be comfortable leading into college. This is the most important and biggest four years of your life. And it helps so much being able to find a group of people, have connections and feel more comfortable right off the bat. You very possibly might meet your best friends for life in the program. You very well may have the most fun days you've had up to this point. But our main goal is to get you prepared for the next four years and maybe even beyond.
"Whether you're someone who is OK with just hanging out with a couple people and is going to be generally more quiet or if you’re someone who wants to go and explore and meet everybody, you're going to be able explore your identity with your family group and in a variety of activities. The goal is for everyone to feel comfortable. If you need alone time, take it. If you want to go meet a million people, do that as well."
— Cody Markow, sophomore international business and marketing
