“I got involved with Carolina Productions because I was looking for a place on campus that would allow me to grow creatively but also give me a sense of belonging. As a media arts major, I wanted experience firsthand in creative media and a chance to collaborate with other people who are just as passionate about creativity and building community as me. Carolina Productions gave me the space to do both of those. I started as a general P.I.T. Crew member (programmers in training), then advanced to the social media coordinator and now serve as the vice president of marketing. I’ve had the opportunity to push my creativity and develop strategic marketing skills. It’s been gratifying to work behind the scenes, help ideas come to life and be part of a team that promotes and supports these events.
