As an incoming first year student you have the ability to select your building and room based on the preferences you select in the housing application process.  Priority for housing selection in based on a number of factors:

• Date of application completion to University Housing determines the date and time you will make your building/room selection.
• The roommate with the earliest date of completed application date will choose the building and room for both roommates at the earliest room selection time.
• If you are in a Living and Learning Community, your application complete date will only determine your room selection.
• Students that apply for housing after May 3 will be placed in a building and room by University Housing.
