Congratulations to Olivia Garrett!

Olivia Garrett (MA candidate, Comparative Literature) has been awarded the Captain William Edward McGinn, Squad 18, FDNY Scholarship ($6,000) for a graduate student. This award was established in memory of Bill McGinn, who lost his life responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11, 2001. The endowment for this award comes through the generosity of the McGinn family and the Intercollegiate Center for Classical Studies (ICCS). The funds are intended to cover the costs of attending the American Academy at Rome’s Classical Summer School, an intensive program designed to familiarize students with the topography and monuments of the ancient city and their various intersections with Latin literature.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
