Ph.D. Romance Languages: Italian with a Minor in Romance Philology. University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 2008. Dissertation Title: Da lei, tutto: Female Relationships in the Narratives of Matilde Serao.

1. The Urban Peasant: Communicating Italian Language and Culture through Food.
2. Chora, Chorus, Coro: Navigating the Female Space in the Universe of Italian Women Writers.
