Curriculum Vitae [pdf]
Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures
I am an alumna of Columbia College; I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and my certificate to teach in 2003. I earned my Master of Education in Languages from the College of Charleston in 2010. The focus of my master-level work was second language acquisition—the best theory, methodology and pedagogy to teach students a second language. I earned my National Board Certification in World Languages in 2013.
I have taught beginning, intermediate and advanced levels of Spanish, and I do so through communicative activities that are based on authentic resources and real-life contexts.
