Clyde Tilson

Clyde Tilson earned his bachelor's degree in Modern Languages and Translation Theory in Aiken, South Carolina in 2020 and then completed his Master's of Arts at the University of South Carolina in 2023. His bachelor's degree was done through the interdisciplinary studies program in order to mix two of his interests: foreign languages and a love for discussing complex questions such as "Is translation even really possible?" and "What are the ramifications of our interpretations of information on various disciplines?" These interests were intensified through his Master's work, where he read a variety of works in order to answer the question "How are literary subjects formed?" using La Chanson de Roland and Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in order to demonstrate a point where there was a shift in the formation of literary subjects. The scale of his interests has increased again—after going from views to subjects, he's interested in seeing how national and linguistic identities are formed through literature.

Challenge the conventional. Create the exceptional. No Limits.
