Readings in French; grammar, basic writing, and composition. Prerequisite: FREN 122 or score of F-5 on placement exam. CL: 2020.

Notes:

**Prerequisites: FREN 122 or score of F-5 on placement exam****This course is a two semester commitment and involves international travel to France during Spring Break**Students enrolled in this special section of FREN 209 are highly encouraged to take the Spring 2022 SCHC 263 course that is paired with the fall course.  While enrolled in this course, students work closely with a class in Paris via Skype, email, etc.  In Spring 2022, while enrolled in SCHC 263, the Paris students visit Columbia in Jan/Feb and USC students serve as the hosts.  USC students travel to Paris during Spring Break.  SCHC assists with costs associated with student travel.
