Biography
Dr. Hernandez joined the faculty of the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 2009. He completed his Family Practice residency with Palmetto Health Richland, Columbia, South Carolina, serving as chief resident during his final year.
A graduate of Howard University, Washington, DC, Dr. Hernandez earned a bachelor of science in pre-med and biology. He received a doctor of medicine from Universidad del Este, San Pedro Macoris.
Dr. Hernandez is board certified in family medicine. His special interests include geriatrics and diabetes.
