On March 16, the South Carolina Beta Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Medical Society held its 2017 spring induction banquet. With 75 attendees, 15 students from the classes of 2017 and 2018 were inducted into AΩA, along with three resident physicians, two School of Medicine faculty members and two alumni.
Dr. Warren Lockette, senior associate dean for diversity and inclusion at the University of Missouri School of Medicine, was the keynote speaker for the event.
