“I became involved in mental health leadership because I’m passionate about creating impact through helping others. As a mental health navigator, I provide one-on-one support and serve as a relatable peer students can turn to for guidance, encouragement and connection to resources. I also serve on the Mental Health Advisory Committee, where student organizations collaborate with mental health leadership at USC to advocate for mental health and directly address student needs.
“Mental well-being is important to student success because when students feel supported emotionally, they are better able to grow and reach their full potential academically and personally.”
