  • Awards Ceremony for the 69th Annual Juried Student Exhibition

McMaster Gallery showcases talent in 69th Annual Juried Student Exhibition

McMaster Gallery hosted the 69th Annual Juried Student Exhibition from January 25 through February 15, a cherished tradition that originated in 1955. Showcasing the exceptional talent within the School of Visual Art and Design (SVAD), the exhibition presents a diverse array of artwork spanning various mediums, including painting, sculpture, animation, printmaking, ceramics, photography, graphic design, and drawing. Works were selected for display by external juror Maya Smith, professional portrait artist, illustrator, and Manager of Stormwater Studios.

This year, 79 SVAD students submitted a total of 205 entries to the show, with a select number earning the honor of being showcased. Six students received juror's choice recognition and were honored during the awards ceremony and reception held on February 15 at McMaster Gallery.
