Professor Donna Chen has been named a fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).  The AAAS seeks to "advance science, engineering, and innovation throughout the world for the benefit of all people. Prof. Chen was selected for her research in surface chemistry, the study of what occurs when a substance changes between a liquid or gas state.  She will be honored at the association’s annual meeting on February 14, 2019, in Washington D.C.
