Biography

Cody Lidge serves as the Courts Program Director at the Children’s Law Center. He leads the Center’s Court Liaison Program and the Court Improvement Program.  His primary role is to collaborate with the South Carolina Department of Social Services, South Carolina Court Administration and other state systems to enhance court hearings to ensure timely permanency for children impacted by abuse and/or neglect.  Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Lidge worked as a Management Analyst at Child and Family Services in Washington, D.C., and as the Family Court Representative with the South Carolina Judicial Department.  Lidge earned an M.P.A. and a B.A. (Phi Beta Kappa) in Political Science from the University of South Carolina.
