Amanda Ord is a Court Liaison for Georgetown and Horry counties. Her primary role is tracking cases that are involved with the South Carolina Department of Social Services for abused and/or neglected children and reporting any issues that would prevent cases from being heard in a timely manner. Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, Amanda worked as a Case Manager with the Department of Children’s Advocacy, and as a Paralegal in various areas of law such as domestic, personal injury, dispute resolution, and real estate. Amanda earned a B.A. in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and an Associate (Magna Cum Laude) in Applied Science from Horry-Georgetown Technical College.
