Background

Crystal Powell serves as the Court Liaison for Spartanburg County.  She assists the family court by tracking and expediting the legal processing of child protection and termination of parental (TPR) cases. She is responsible for reviewing case files, preparing information sheets for the court, and assisting in resolving issues to prevent delayed hearings. Prior to joining the Children’s Law Center, she served as Case Manager for the Volunteer Guardian ad Litem Program and Services Coordinator and Outcomes Assessor for the South Carolina Department of Social Services Intensive Foster Care and Clinical Services Division. She holds a B.A. from the University of South Carolina.
