Fall 2023 final grades deadline information

As the semester begins to wind down, it is important to remember that Fall 2023 grades are due no later than 72 calendar hours after the final examination for the course. Failure to submit grades in a timely manner can – and often does – have serious repercussions for your students, including suspension of financial aid and failure to graduate.
Late grades can negatively affect:

- academic standing
- academic progression
- semester honors
- financial aid eligibility
- athletic eligibility
- graduation eligibility
- job offers and acceptance into graduate school and professional academic programs
Grades are submitted via Self Service Carolina. If you require assistance submitting grades, visit the Registrar’s website. Grade submission in Self Service Carolina will be temporarily unavailable on Dec. 20 while end of term processing is underway.
Once a final grade has rolled to the student’s academic record, grade corrections must be submitted on a Change of Grade form. Please note that grades or any portion of the student ID number or SSN should never be posted in public view or on the web.
