During UofSC's over 200-year-history, a lot has changed, however, so much has stayed
the same. Check out these before and after photos of what unites us all as Gamecocks.
Several of these photos are from "Carolina Voices," a collection edited by Carolyn
B. Matalene and Katherine C. Reynolds that reveals the personal anecdotes of UofSC
students over the past 200 years. Told in students' own words, "these writings — from
antebellum manuscripts to emails — capture the color and spirit of the times, revealing
attitudes and opinions, issues and passions."
