Mental health resources are here to help

October brings World Mental Health Day, and with it, a good time to reflect on our mental health.

Do you struggle to remain positive or to recover from setbacks? That's normal. Positivity and resiliency often require work, and sometimes, outside help. The qualified staff at our Employee Assistance Program offers confidential consultations to answer your mental health questions and to offer assistance—any time, every day.

Our mind is our most powerful tool that we have during times of adversity. You can learn skills and strategies to exercise the power of your mind and increase your mental fortitude.

This online seminar may be accessed anytime starting October 20th. No registration is necessary – just log into the EAP website using the username “USC” and password “guest”. Once you are logged in, scroll down and you will see “Online Seminars” in the middle of the page.

Your Employee Assistance Program has many other resources to help you be kind to yourself. Log into mygroup.com and you will find articles on resiliency skills and stress resistance, recorded seminars on how to build better mental health, and access to counselors 24 hours a day.
