Upcoming events and news to note:

DCSA Recurring Direct Pay Program

ASIFlex now offers a convenient Recurring Direct Pay Program for payments to dependent care providers. With Recurring Direct Pay, participants no longer need to submit a claim for every payment. ASIFlex will pay the dependent care provider directly from the participant's Dependent Care Spending Account (DCSA) on the schedule the participant and dependent care provider choose.

Reimbursement for at-home COVID tests

State Health Plan primary members are eligible to request reimbursement for over-the-counter COVID-19 tests authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Reimbursements are limited to eight tests per covered member in a 30-day period.

Open enrollment for State ORP

The annual open enrollment period for participants of the State Optional Retirement Program (State ORP) is January 1 to March 1, 2022. Changes made during this time will be effective April 1, 2022.

New Supplemental Benefits Enrollment Nov 8-24

The Division of Human Resources is excited to announce that new supplemental benefits are available to benefits eligible employees. Sign up now for a 1-on-1 meeting with a Ward Services benefits representative to enroll.

Free weight loss program excepting applications

State Health Plan members and dependents are eligible to participate in a free weight loss program. Wondr Health is clinically proven to help participants lose weight, sleep better, stress less and so much more. The deadline to apply is October 24, and the next class begins November 8.

UofSC receives PEBA Partners award

The University of South Carolina received the PEBA Partners award for being one of the top employers in the state who promotes physically, emotionally, and financially healthier workspaces.
