End-of-Year Reminders

As we close out the year, here are a few important updates to help you start January with confidence:

  • ORP Open Enrollment begins January 1. If you're planning changes for the new year, now’s the time to prepare.

  • Pharmacy Benefits Update for 2026
    Beginning January 1, 2026, CVS Caremark will replace Express Scripts as the pharmacy benefits manager for the State Health Plan.
    • All subscribers will receive new prescription benefits ID cards before December 31, 2025.
    • Once received, be sure to provide your new card to your network pharmacy to continue processing claims without interruption.

  • Tax Forms & Electronic Consent
    • Employees can access both Form 1095-C and Form W-2 electronically through HCM PeopleSoft once separate electronic consent is provided for each form.
    • If you do not provide electronic consent, paper copies will be mailed to your permanent address.
    • Please complete your electronic consent by Friday, January 16, 2026.
    • Employees will be notified when the 2026 forms are available to view.
  • Need a Paper Copy Instead?
    • Form 1095-C: Request via benefits@mailbox.sc.edu, 803-777-6650, or by visiting the Benefits Office (1600 Hampton St., Suite 801).
    • Form W-2: Request via PAYROLL@mailbox.sc.edu, 803-777-4227, or visit Payroll on the 6th floor at 1600 Hampton St. (Wednesdays, 9 a.m.–4 p.m.).

  • Timesheet Timing
    Hourly employees should have submitted and received approval for all timesheets through Dec. 12.
    • These hours will be paid on Dec. 22.
    • Hours worked after Dec. 13 will be paid on Jan. 15.
