NEW Supplemental Benefits Enrollment

Enrollment Period is November 8 - 24

The Division of Human Resources is excited to announce that new supplemental benefits are available to benefits eligible employees system wide. These benefits offer extra protection for you and your family and complement the State benefits package.


What are supplemental benefits?

  • Benefits designed to provide additional protection for you and your family.
  • 100% employee paid through payroll deduction.
  • Portable – you can take the benefits with you once you retire or leave employment.
  • Guaranteed issue – your health history may not impact your ability to enroll.


How do I enroll?

  • The enrollment period is November 8 – 24, 2021.
  • This is the one time each year you can enroll.
  • The insurance plans are being offered through Trustmark and Colonial Life, and Ward Services* is facilitating the enrollment process for both vendors. 
  • Watch this video from Ward Services to learn about the enrollment process.
  • Visit Trustmark's website to learn about the benefits of each plan and the payroll deducted premiums, or watch this pre-recorded session conducted by Ward Services on November 12. 
  • Schedule a one-on-one (virtual or in-person on campus) meeting with a Ward Services benefits representative to enroll.
    • For online scheduling support, call 844-533-2022. Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation and reminder email from AppointmentPlus. If you don’t receive these emails, please check your junk mail.

*Ward Services is a third-party enrollment vendor approved by the Division of Human Resources and HUB International.
