The University of South Carolina (USC), the state’s flagship and an R1 research university, seeks a visionary, collaborative, and student-centered leader to serve as Dean of the McCausland College of Arts & Sciences. As the largest and most academically diverse college at USC, McCausland College spans the arts, humanities, natural sciences and social sciences and is central to the university’s mission of teaching, research, and service. The next Dean will champion excellence across disciplines, accelerate research and creative activity, strengthen student success and belonging, cultivate philanthropy, and amplify McCausland College’s impact across South Carolina and beyond.
