Office of the VPR launches new awards program for research support staff members

The Office of The Vice President for Research is now accepting nominations for a new research awards program, the Exceptional Research Service Awards. This program, consisting of three distinct honors, is designed to recognize outstanding research support staff who provide top-notch service to UofSC’s faculty and student researchers every day. With award categories for research administrators and technical research staff, the Exceptional Research Service Awards will provide recognition and an honorarium of $500 for deserving professionals. New 2022 Breakthrough Award honorees represent the best in UofSC research

The Office of the Vice President for Research begins each year with the very pleasant task of announcing our new group of Breakthrough award recipients. Each year, competition is close as a committee of faculty reviewers considers many very strong faculty and graduate student nominees representing the entire UofSC system. The 2022 Breakthrough nominees held with this pattern of excellence. We are very pleased to present five Breakthrough Leadership in Research awards, 13 Breakthrough Star awards and 15 Breakthrough Graduate Scholar awards to our 2022 class of Breakthrough awardees.
