After the success of last year's horseshoe chat, Vice President for Research Julius Fridriksson is looking for more informal feedback from faculty on research challenges at UofSC. Propel seeks senior faculty to serve as mentors for 2022-2023

The Office of the Vice President for Research is seeking tenured senior faculty to serve as mentors for the 2022-2023 Propel Research Mentorship Program. Propel mentors enjoy a unique opportunity to provide guidance, input and support for junior faculty members, and develop new professional relationships with mentees, fellow mentors and other Propel supporters. Read more and apply now to serve as a Propel mentor. Mentor applications are due by Monday, August 22.

Don’t forget: Propel is also seeking early-career faculty mentees. Junior faculty, apply for the mentorship program by Monday, August 15.

 

Register Now: NIH to host two webinars on data management

Later this summer and early this fall, the National Institutes of Health will offer two webinars on the agency’s new Data Management and Sharing Policy, which will go into effect on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. These webinars will provide the information researchers need to understand and comply with the new policy. Registration links, dates and times for the NIH webinars are provided below. Keep your eyes on the Weekly Research Update for information about a University Libraries virtual session coming up this fall to provide additional information on the new NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy.
