The Office of the Vice President for Research is proud to award 41 2025-2026 SPARC Graduate Research Grants to support graduate student researchers across 23 academic departments and 11 colleges and schools. Through the Support to Promote Advancement of Research and Creativity Graduate Research Grants, graduate students receive up to $5,000 in internal funding to engage in research, scholarly and creative projects over a 15-month period.

This grant program is designed not only to sponsor meritorious research but to strengthen student skills for a career in research through the extramural research funding proposal process.
