Statement of Policy
Only tenured faculty may be eligible for the position of Area Coordinator. Area Coordinators serve a 4-year term. The fourth year would consist of a co-coordinatorship with the newly appointed coordinator. Both co-coordinators would meet with the Dean to outline a plan for what is to be accomplished in the next coordinator's term of service, and to outline specific duties. Appointment and re-appointment would occur as a result of consultation between area faculty and the Dean.
