It is time again for the College of Pharmacy’s annual career expo, providing alumni an opportunity to share their wealth of knowledge with students as they explore options in the pharmacy world.
The 4th Annual Career Expo will again be a virtual event through Zoom and is scheduled for Friday, February 4, 2022, with two sessions from 1 p.m. - 2:35 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 4:35 p.m. College of Pharmacy alumni, pharmacists, practitioners and industry representatives are invited to participate in one or both sessions.
This is a unique opportunity to connect with College of Pharmacy students, to give back to the college through your time and commitment and to share your valuable insights as students consider the myriad of opportunities in the pharmaceutical field and learn about careers for which they may have previously been unaware.
“More than 330 first through third-year students had the opportunity to talk directly with professionals about their career paths, daily job responsibilities, pharmacist positions, internships, rotations and residencies during last year’s expo,” says Sarah Sipes, associate director for Development and Alumni Engagement. “Students very much appreciate the chance to learn more about the many career possibilities.”
