USC College of Pharmacy Earns ACPE Accreditation with Commendation

The University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy Office of Continuing Education has been awarded Accreditation with Commendation by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE). This distinction recognizes continuing education providers that demonstrate excellence in educational quality, innovation, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Accreditation with Commendation is awarded to providers that go beyond meeting accreditation standards by demonstrating a measurable impact on professional practice and patient care. This achievement reflects the dedication of our faculty, staff, committee members, and speakers to deliver high-quality continuing education programs that support lifelong learning and advance the pharmacy profession.

This recognition reflects years of dedication to providing high-quality educational programs and reinforces our commitment to supporting healthcare professionals through lifelong learning and continuous improvement.

"Receiving Accreditation with Commendation is a tremendous honor for our Office of Continuing Education. This recognition reflects years of dedication to providing high-quality educational programs and reinforces our commitment to supporting healthcare professionals through lifelong learning and continuous improvement,” says James Anderson, director of Continuing Education.

The USC College of Pharmacy has been accredited since 1975, when the ACPE established standards for the approval (now, accreditation) of providers of continuing pharmacy education, and remains committed to providing innovative, evidence-based educational programs that meet the evolving needs of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other healthcare professionals.
