Reminder: Complete STAR nominations due next week

STAR, or the Series on Training for Advanced Research program, supports senior faculty members who are interested in learning more about applying for and running an interdisciplinary, federally funded research center. The STAR program will provide a series of four workshops presented by UofSC faculty members who have secured funding for and managed major federal research centers. Through these workshops, presenters will share their insights on every aspect of managing center grants. Any faculty member may nominate any number of senior faculty members who meet the eligibility criteria for STAR (self-nominations are not allowed). For more information on the new STAR program, including the workshop schedule and speakers, and nomination instructions, visit the Office of the Vice President for Research website. Complete nomination packages are due by Friday, September 10, 2021.
